Riot Games is reintroducing the well-liked Spirit Blossom event in League of Legends under the name Season 2: Spirit Blossom Beyond. A cinematic was shared by the team today, offering glimpses of various characters who will be part of this event. Previous occurrences of the Spirit Blossom event suggest that an array of new cosmetics may be available for our favorite Champions in this upcoming event.
This week, Riot Games unveiled a teaser movie for the League of Legends Season 2 Spirit Blossom Beyond event on their social media platforms. The event is scheduled to commence on April 30, 2025. Accompanied by the song “Here, Tomorrow,” featuring artists Lilas and Kevin Penkin, the cinematic presents a mystical and spiritual aspect of Runeterra, with strong connections to Ionia, much like the initial Spirit Blossom event where any character from the game may make an appearance. In the movie, we caught glimpses of what seemed to be Spirit Blossom variants of Xin Zhao, Ashe, Lux, Ahri, Irelia, Nidalee, Morgana, and Shen.
It’s yet uncertain if each character will receive a new cosmetic for the upcoming Spirit Blossom event by Riot Games. More information should be revealed soon, so we won’t have to wait long to see what the event has in store. The past League of Legends Spirit Blossom event offered exciting elements like revealing unique tales for characters such as Cassiopeia, Lilia, and Yasuo. It seems Riot Games is planning to uplevel the experience this time around.
