Originally, the trailer for L2: Empuraan was planned to debut at 1:08 PM on March 20th. But due to leaks, the creators decided to premiere it earlier in the morning hours instead.
From its initial conception, Lucifer was planned as a trilogy. The first movie kicked off this adventure, and its impressive performance prompted the team to proceed with the second chapter.
In the film, Mohanlal takes on the character of Khureshi Ab’raam/Stephen Nedumpally again, while Prithviraj Sukumaran assumes the role of Zayed Masood. Notably, Karthikeya Dev is cast as the younger version of this character.
In this production, Tovino Thomas steps into the character of Jathin Ramdas, while Indrajith Sukumaran portrays Govardhan. Manju Warrier is cast as Priyadarshini Ramdas, with Abhimanyu Singh assuming the role of Balraj. Additionally, the film includes international actors such as Eriq Ebouaney as Kabuga, Jerome Flynn as Boris Oliver, and Andrea Tivadar as Michele Menuhin. Suraj Venjaramoodu takes on the character of Sajanachandran within the storyline.
