L2 Empuraan: Mohanlal comments on Prithviraj as a director; says ‘This is just the tip of the iceberg…’

On March 27, 2025, the highly anticipated movie, Empuraan, is all set to hit theaters. Before its grand premiere, the main cast and production team attended the IMAX trailer launch event in Mumbai. At this event, Mohanlal shared his strong belief in Prithviraj Sukumaran’s abilities as a filmmaker.

Regarding Prithviraj, Mohanlal commented, “Prithviraj is destined to be one of India’s essential film directors, and we’ve only seen the beginning. This is due to his strong dedication; he lives, dreams, and consumes cinema when inspired. However, when not inspired, he can be quite playful.

I was thrilled to be among the many who couldn’t resist the buzz surrounding the early unveiling of the Empuraan trailer. Originally slated for a midday release on March 20, 2025, it turned out that the excitement was too much to contain, and the trailer was leaked ahead of its official debut at midnight.

Regarding the sudden early unveiling, those involved, such as Mohanlal, expressed, ” Keep in mind, it was you who called forth the DEMON at this moment!
