L2 Empuraan: Mohanlal and Prithviraj Sukumaran’s film falls victim to piracy, gets leaked online following grand release

The movie “L2: Empuraan,” starring Mohanlal, received favorable reviews upon its grand theater debut on March 27. Unfortunately, despite its premiere, the film directed by Prithviraj Sukumaran was quickly targeted by piracy and appeared on various illegal websites shortly after release. It now remains to be seen how the creators and team of “Empuraan” will address this issue.

On numerous occasions, movies have appeared unlawfully on various online pirate sites prior to L2: Empuraan. Films like Thandel, Vidaamuyarchi, Game Changer, Pushpa 2, and others were among those that were distributed illicitly and viewed on these platforms before their official release.

In the midst of the Thandel piracy controversy, the creators convened a press conference to publicly discuss the situation. Initially, they felt it essential to halt additional leaks; however, their actions ended up causing more problems instead.

Later on, Rabbit voiced remorse about his choice, explaining that perhaps the audience wasn’t cognizant of the pirated editions, but unintentionally, the press conference amplified their visibility. He conceded that his public statement impacted Thandel negatively and regretted conducting the press conference.

Regarding the movie, L2: Empuraan is still performing strongly at cinemas, even facing challenges from piracy. Exciting news for fans is that the creators have verified Mohanlal’s return in L3: The Beginning, marking the conclusion of the trilogy.

This chapter delves further into themes of power and criminal activities, shedding light on Stephen Nedumpally’s transformation into Khureshi Ab’raam. A significant element is the Shen Dragon, a powerful Chinese gang that shapes international crime networks. The movie promises high-octane action, suspense, and broadens the scope of the Lucifer universe. As anticipation builds, fans are eager for casting announcements and production news about this highly anticipated finale.

The narrative of Empuraan unfolds five years after Lucifer, delving into the evolving political landscape of Kerala. The self-serving new chief minister prioritizes power over the people’s wellbeing. As corruption escalates and unrest intensifies, there are whispers that Stephen Nedumpally may reappear. Additionally, the film reveals Zayeed Masood’s past, portrayed by Prithviraj Sukumaran.
