The movie “Kuberaa,” starring Dhanush, is getting ready for its premiere on June 20, 2025. Before the film makes it to the theaters, the producers are planning to reveal their second song on May 25, 2025.
The creators of the film revealed that it would be released with a fresh poster and scheduled for release on May 25th, titled “#TranceOfKuberaa”. They also shared that the movie will hit cinemas on June 20th, 2025.

Kuberaa,” a gripping social thriller, showcases Dhanush and Nagarjuna Akkineni as the main characters. This film is masterfully directed by Sekhar Kammula. Notably, it is being filmed simultaneously in Telugu, Hindi, and Tamil. Key roles are played by Rashmika Mandanna, Jim Sarbh, and Dalip Tahil.
Initially, there were rumors about when the movie would premiere, but the producers have now definitively announced that it will open in theaters on its scheduled date without delay. Notably, the music for Kuberaa has been skillfully composed by Devi Sri Prasad, while Niketh Bommireddy and Karthika Srinivas are in charge of the cinematography and editing, respectively.
Discussing Dhanush, he’s been generating buzz lately following news that he will portray APJ Abdul Kalam in the upcoming biopic. The production team confirmed this through a poster, titling the film “Kalam” with director Om Raut at the helm.
Regarding Dhanush’s upcoming projects, he will soon be seen in his self-directed film titled “Idly Kadai.” This will be his fourth directorial venture after “NEEK,” and he will play the main character. It is reported that this movie will be a drama production.
Accompanying him are actors like Nithya Menen, Arun Vijay, Rajkiran, and several others in significant roles. Originally scheduled for release on April 10, the movie has now been pushed back to open in theaters on October 1, 2025.
In addition to the films already mentioned, the actor is currently working on “Tere Ishk Mein” and has confirmed collaborations with directors such as Rajkumar Periasamy and Mari Selvaraj.
