Dax Shepard expressed his excitement over Kristen Bell’s 2025 Emmy nomination by sharing a playful photo on Instagram that drew attention. The picture depicted Bell striking a yoga pose (downward dog) in their backyard, donning just a pair of vibrant blue knee-high socks.
Shepard humorously commented, ‘People often don’t realize all the things that go on backstage to create an Emmy-nominated performance like Kristen’s.’ He also mentioned, ‘This could have been part of her preparation, but it seemed fitting.’ CONGRATULATIONS!!!
Besides Bell, even the show’s creator, Erin Foster, expressed excitement through a social media post upon hearing the Emmy news. They both shared pictures that depicted the instant they found out about their nominations while working on a Zoom call during an ADR session for season two.
In one of the photos, both women look clearly surprised. Bell titled the post, “Learning I was nominated for an Emmy – Learning @erinfoster was nominated for an Emmy!!!” Shepard responded to her post with, “I hope you listen to ‘Strut’ by Steven Seagal all day long. You deserve it!!!!

In the same vein, the show Nobody Wants This received a nod for the category of Outstanding Comedy Series, which also recognized Foster as a nominee in the Producer category. Simultaneously, Adam Brody, our fellow cast member, was nominated in the Outstanding Actor in a Comedy Series category, specifically for his portrayal of Rabbi Noah Roklov.
Kristen Bell and Dax Shepard began their relationship in 2007, officially getting married in 2013. Together they have two lovely daughters: Lincoln, who is now 11 years old, and Delta, aged 9.
