Koumei & the Five Fates release date - Warframe

As a seasoned Warframe veteran with countless hours spent navigating the intricate web of this sci-fi juggernaut, I can confidently say that the upcoming Koumei & the Five Fates update has my heart racing like never before! The prospect of a new Warframe, Koumei, accompanied by her signature weapons is enough to make any Tenno’s palms sweat.

In simple terms, the upcoming update for Warframe is titled “Koumei & the Five Fates,” and it’s expected to arrive on your gaming device ahead of schedule. You can anticipate some exciting revelations along the way, making this an exceptional update worth looking forward to!

Koumei & the Five Fates release date

The upcoming update featuring Koumei & Five Fates is set for launch on October 2nd in the Western regions, and on October 3rd in Japan, for all platforms. This update primarily focuses on introducing a new Warframe, Koumei, accompanied by her unique weapons: the Higasa Rifle and the Amanata Polearm.

The update will also feature new Deluxe skins for Volt and Nova, as well as a new skin for Caliban, with the latter also getting a full rework. Caliban has always been an interesting Frame in the game, but his power fantasy didn’t really end up translating over into gameplay very well, and he just wasn’t a popular option for many players.

In honor of the update, every player who logs into the game from October 2nd through October 16th will receive a complimentary Caliban character. Additionally, you’ll also gain a new Warframe slot for him at no cost.

As a devoted fan, I wanted to share some updates about Wukong. Starting now, you won’t be able to break the stomp animation with Cloud Walker any longer. Additionally, Celestial Stomp will no longer stun enemies that are immune to crowd control, such as Eximus units. This adjustment might seem minor, but it doesn’t affect his incredible durability in a significant way.

Hildryn can enjoy some assistance as she’ll have the option to employ Pillage or any of Helminth’s abilities when Aegis Storm is activated. On the other hand, Balefire Charger’s shield cost will decrease, and its maximum charge shot damage will be boosted. Lastly, turning off Aegis Storm will grant you a brief period of invincibility.

Nova is also getting a mild rework. Her passive is changing to allow her to have a chance to drop health orbs from slowed enemies and energy orbs from sped-up enemies. Null Star will create more particles and now scales with Strength, making it easier to hit the damage reduction cap. Antimatter Drop will be much easier to control, and you can recast to speed it up. Wormhole is getting a visual indicator of how many charges it will do.

Among its many enhancements, Molecular Prime is soon receiving a “hold-to-cast” feature that allows for both faster and slower enemy versions within a single build. This update not only brings Fast Nova and Slow Nova together, but also offers numerous improvements to the overall new player experience and the behavior of companions. Quite an exciting modification!

Apart from the Koumei update, there’s an upcoming playable demo for Warframe’s next major expansion, Warframe 1999, coming on October 16th. This news is equally thrilling as we anticipate the full release of 1999 towards the end of the year.
