The entire Telugu film community is deeply saddened by the passing of the iconic actor Kota Srinivasa Rao, who died at the age of 83 on July 13, 2025. This prolific actor, whose collaborations span almost every other member in the industry, leaves behind a unique and irreplaceable legacy through his remarkable body of work.
Will THIS Pawan Kalyan film be the last movie of Kota Srinivasa Rao?
According to a report from Gulte, it appears that the final film role of Kota Srinivasa Rao will likely be in the upcoming movie titled Hari Hara Veera Mallu, starring Pawan Kalyan.
In one of his final interviews before passing away, the actor shared that he was set to star in a movie directed by Krish Jagarlamudi, alongside Pawan Kalyan. It seems the director had even sketched out a three-day role for the actor and personally asked for the actor’s availability on those specific dates.
Additionally, it’s been mentioned that Kota Srinivasa had a close relationship with director Harish Shankar. This has sparked rumors suggesting that Srinivasa might have played a role in Pawan Kalyan’s movie, Ustad Bhagat Singh, which is helmed by the same filmmaker.
It’s not clear at present whether Kota Srinivasa Rao will appear in the film Hari Hara Veera Mallu, as the makers have not yet confirmed this. We can only wait and see.
Actors offer condolences as they mourn the loss of Kota Srinivasa Rao
Following the announcement of the death of the Telugu actor, Kota Srinivasa Rao, on social media, many actors in the film industry expressed their sympathy by writing messages on Twitter.
In other words, Chiranjeevi wrote a lengthy message showing his sorrow, as a legendary figure from Tollywood has passed away for good.
He penned, “The gap left by an actor such as Sri Kota Srinivasa Rao is one that the film industry and movie enthusiasts will never fill. Wishing tranquility for his soul, I offer my deepest sympathies to his family, friends, and admirers.
