As an ardent fan of the Malayalam and Kannada cinema industry, I can hardly contain my excitement for the upcoming OTT debut of “Kondal”! Antony Varghese and Raj B Shetty are two actors I have been eagerly following, and their collaboration in this action flick is a dream come true.
Starring Antony Varghese and Raj B Shetty, the highly anticipated Malayalam action series “Kondal” will begin streaming on Netflix on October 13, 2024, at midnight.
Originally screened in cinemas on September 13 alongside Tovino Thomas’ “Ajayante Randam Moshanam” and Asif Ali’s “Kishkindha Kaandam”, the film will now make its online premiere on an OTT platform, approximately a month after its initial release for the Onam festival.
The film Kondal with Antony Varghese in the main role portrays the character as Manuel, a man grappling with issues in his small town. Due to these difficulties, he chooses to abandon his familiar surroundings and seek employment at a harbor. Unfortunately, petty disagreements escalate into a confrontation between him and his coworkers, paving the way for the ensuing movie plot.

In a new film directed by Ajith Mampally, Kannada actor Raj B Shetty takes on his second role in Malayalam. Previously, he made his debut in this language with the action movie Turbo, starring Mammootty and directed by Vysakh. In this film, he portrayed the main villain.
Besides the main characters, the movie boasts a talented supporting cast that includes Gauthami Nair, Shabeer Kallarakkal, Jaya Kurup, Nandu Madhav, Faizah Mariam, and several others in pivotal parts.
Regarding Antony Varghese’s upcoming roles, he is slated to feature in the film titled Daveed, helmed by Govind Vishnu. This forthcoming project is billed as a sports action movie, where Antony will portray a boxer. Lijo Mol Jose (known for Jai Bhim), Saiju Kurup, Vijayaraghavan, Nileen Sandra, and several others are also part of the film, playing significant roles.
As for myself, I’m eagerly looking forward to making an appearance in the Kannada film titled “45,” where Shiva Rajkumar graces the lead role. This exciting project, marked as Arjun Janya’s directorial debut, also features notable actors like Upendra Rao and Jisshu Sengupta. Furthermore, I am currently immersed in another project named “Rudhiram” in Malayalam cinema.
