As a dedicated gamer, I’m thrilled to hear that Konami is considering a remake of more Metal Gear Solid titles. Fingers crossed they’ll delve deep into the franchise and give us a comprehensive overhaul of the original MGS game. I’d love to see some significant upgrades, transforming it into a contemporary masterpiece. With freshly recorded voiceovers and motion-captured cutscenes, they can breathe new life into this classic story, making it feel as relevant today as it did back then.

It’s also said that there might be a sequel to the Metal Gear Solid: Master Collection, tentatively named Volume 2. This supposedly encompasses games like MGS 4: Grounds of Patriots, Peace Walker, The Phantom Pain, and possibly some side titles as well.

Indeed, unlike the initial Volume 1 launch, the contemporary editions of the stealth series demand substantial effort to adapt for modern platforms, particularly the hypothetical Nintendo Switch 2. To illustrate, Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots was engineered around the PS3’s peculiar Cell Processor structure, which will necessitate a considerable amount of work to transfer to new hardware.
