As a dedicated gamer, I can confidently say that the Silent Hill horror series has always held a special place in my heart. And it’s about time Konami gave it the recognition it deserves! The latest remake of Silent Hill 2 was nothing short of phenomenal, and we’re not done exploring that eerie town just yet. While there’s still hope for future remakes, Konami is currently gearing up to unveil a fresh take on the Silent Hill universe in an unprecedented setting. Fans can tune in live to witness this fog-lifted reveal of a brand-new Silent Hill game!

Konami set to lift the fog on brand-new Silent Hill game

According to Konami’s recent announcement on X, they are preparing to reveal more details about the upcoming Silent Hill game. This game was initially teased with a cinematic trailer in 2023, but Konami hinting at “lifting the fog” suggests we might be treated to gameplay soon.

From what we’ve gathered from the movie-like preview, this new Shinobi game appears to be exceptionally unique compared to previous ones. It seems to take place in Japan, and the teaser trailer was quite unsettling.

The big unveiling from Konami will happen during a live broadcast on March 13th at 3PM Pacific Time (6PM Eastern Time / 10PM Greenwich Mean Time). You can catch this event live on their official YouTube channel.

I’m excitedly waiting for any gameplay reveal, even though we haven’t been given a specific release date yet. As far as updates for that small town go, there’s only officially talk about project f, but there are whispers of remakes for SH1 and 3. Additionally, there’s speculation that Konami could be developing another Silent Hill game instead of outsourcing it to another studio.
