Netflix has officially announced the release timeline for Knives Out 3, titled “Wake Up Dead Man,” and shared a fresh image from the highly anticipated sequel to Rian Johnson’s celebrated murder mystery series. The newly released photo offers fans a sneak peek at Daniel Craig reprising his role as Benoit Blanc. Additionally, it gives us our first glimpse of Josh O’Connor, who won a Golden Globe, in his new character.

When is the Knives Out 3 release date window?

In the Fall of 2025, the Netflix premiere of “Wake Up Dead Man: A Knives Out Mystery” is eagerly anticipated. This time around, detective Benoit Blanc will tackle his most challenging case yet. Alongside Craig and O’Connor, an illustrious ensemble includes Glenn Close (from “Fatal Attraction”), Josh Brolin (“Dune”), Mila Kunis (“Luckiest Girl Alive”), Jeremy Renner (“The Town”), Kerry Washington (“Scandal”), Andrew Scott (“All of Us Strangers”), Cailee Spaeny (“Priscilla”), Daryl McCormack (“Peaky Blinders”), and Thomas Haden Church (“Spider-Man 3”).

For the third time around, Johnson will pen and direct the upcoming sequel. Notably, he received an Academy Award nomination for Best Adapted Screenplay for his work on 2022’s Glass Onion, which has earned him this opportunity. Johnson and Ram Bergman are jointly producing the project. The Knives Out series has seen a number of prominent actors such as Daniel Craig, Jamie Lee Curtis, Ana de Armas, Chris Evans, Toni Collette, Edward Norton, Dave Bautista, Janelle Monáe, and Kathryn Hahn take on roles within it.
