Three brands – Kith, South2 West8, and Columbia Sportswear – stepped into a design studio, and from there emerged a unique blend of athletic performance, urban streetwear style, and fly-fishing influence in outerwear. Officially known as the Kith & South2 West8 line for Columbia Sportswear, it’s set to debut this coming Friday.
In their initial collaboration, this assortment blends distinctive elements from Kith and South2 West8 styles, infused with Columbia’s knack for practicality. Highlighted pieces within the collection are the Tapestry Coaches Jacket, adorned with paisley jacquard tapestry and intricate artwork across its surface, as well as the robust Multi Pocket Jacket, designed to accommodate outdoor essentials boasting a total of 14 pockets. This jacket is available in both black and blue tones.

In my gaming world, the collection also includes the Dayton Combo Pullover, a sleek nylon sweater emblazoned with Kith’s logo in South2 West8’s unique typography, and the Nelson Hoodie, a timeless Kith design reimagined here with heavyweight fleece in three colorways, adorned with all-over tri-branding. The Sun Deflector Long Sleeve, featuring Columbia’s signature waterproof and breathable Omni-Tech materials, is decked out in Kith’s monogram. Perfect for a day of fly fishing, an activity that resonates well with the classic South2 West8 fanbase. Each piece in the collection carries a subtle yet distinct imprint of each brand’s identity.
In terms of additional items, they unveil products such as the Nylon Pinch Crown and Crusher Hat for headgear, bandanas, socks, and bags included in the lineup. The Ripstop Nylon Sling Backpack is designed to accommodate a substantial amount of outdoor equipment, while the Hip Bag is more suitable for lighter loads.
Completing the collection, Kith and South2 West8 have revamped Columbia’s popular Newton Ridge hiking boots, known for their exceptional traction across various terrains. The innovative design incorporates an Omni-Grip outsole, a Techlite midsole, and an Omni-Tech upper. The collaboration’s tri-logo adorns the tongue, heel, and insole of these shoes.
The collaboration between Kith and Columbia Sportswear is set to launch both online and in Kith’s physical stores starting from March 14, 11 a.m. Eastern Time. Check out the gallery above for a sneak peek of the collection.
