Martinez and Agnes expressed that their time on Kitchen Nightmares left them feeling quite disheartened, as they discovered they held distinct views regarding the restaurant’s direction. As Agnes put it, “Sometimes, things must fall apart before they can come back together in a better way. Rey and I faced difficulties, but ultimately we were both motivated by good intentions for the restaurant. We simply approached its management from different perspectives, which is not uncommon.

Despite South Brooklyn Foundry closing down, Agnes remains hopeful and views it as a “success story.” Notably, she prefers to emphasize the joyous moments experienced there and the people who supported her throughout its operation. She expresses heartfelt gratitude towards the patrons for their unwavering belief in her venture.

Nevertheless, the duo openly expressed their opinions regarding the program. Agnes candidly declared that auditioning for Kitchen Nightmares was her most regrettable career move. Similarly, Martinez didn’t mince words, stating that the show wasn’t about cooking, but rather, it was primarily focused on creating drama for Ramsay.
