The film titled “Kadhalikka Neramillai,” featuring Jayam Ravi and Nithya Menen, is set to hit theaters on January 14, 2025. This movie, steered by Kiruthiga Udhayanidhi, delves into the timeless theme of love, exploring how it evolves from one generation to another.
During her discussion with Behindwoods, the director expressed that love is an eternal and global idea. She noted that each generation perceives love differently, with our understanding being distinct from that of the current generation, which in turn differs from our parents’. Her aim in the movie is to depict how relationships unfold, the challenges they face, and how couples navigate these difficulties beyond the mere emotion of love.
Discussing further on reaching out to music legend AR Rahman regarding the movie, Kiruthiga shared her desire, much like every director, to collaborate with him. She emphasized that it took the confirmation of Jayam Ravi and Nithya Menen’s participation in the project before she felt ready to propose the film idea to the maestro.
The director went on to say, “If you listen to the songs that have already been made public, you’ll notice they belong to distinctly different genres. So far, three songs from the movie have been released and the other two will also be in unique genres. I believe this diversity might be why A.R. Rahman thought there would be varied opportunities for music in the film.” (translated from Tamil)

In 2025, during the Pongal festival, a delightful romantic comedy movie starring popular actors such as Yogi Babu, Vinay Rai, John Kokken, Lal, and others in significant parts will be premiering on the large movie screens.
