Despite the fact that Betsy Kelso would theoretically be approximately 17 or 18 years old considering her birth year in 1979 and ‘That ’90s Show’ part 3 happening in 1996, it’s important to note that Kira Kosarin is actually 26 years old (as of August 2024), as she was born on October 7, 1997 in New Jersey.
Following her debut on Disney Channel’s Shake It Up in 2012, Kosarin was cast as the leading character Phoebe Thunderman in Nickelodeon’s superhero sitcom The Thundermans, starting from 2013. She appeared in all four seasons and a total of 98 episodes throughout the series. Although The Thundermans concluded in 2018, it returned for the 2024 movie titled The Thundermans Return, which led to a fresh spinoff series that she will also be part of.
Besides “The Thundermans,” Kosarin has also made appearances in films like “Lucky” and “Supercool”, as well as episodes from TV series such as “School of Rock”, “Knight Squad”, “All About the Washingtons”, “Good Trouble”, “Welcome to the Wayne”, and “Light as a Feather”.
