As a devoted fan of the Planet of the Apes franchise, I can hardly contain my excitement as I share the news that the latest installment, Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes, will soon be available for streaming on Hulu! The anticipation has been building ever since its successful theatrical release back in May, and now we don’t have to wait much longer.

The latest addition to the Planet of the Apes reboot series, owned by 20th Century Studios, is now set to premiere on Hulu. The announcement was made following approximately two months since its theatrical release.

Starting August 2, Hulu will offer the opportunity to stream “Planet of the Apes: Kingdom of the Apes.” In the meantime, enthusiasts can enjoy the entire “Planet of the Apes” collection, which includes the classic adaptations from the 1970s.

The film brought in over $376 million during its time in theaters around the world, and it now has a fresh certification of 80% on Rotten Tomatoes based on reviews from critics.

In the description, several generations have passed since Caesar’s rule, with apes now thriving as the superior beings and humans living in hiding. A new tyrannical ape ruler rises to power, prompting a young ape on an arduous quest to challenge his beliefs about the past and make decisions that will shape the future for both apes and humans.

I was thrilled to see Wes Ball at the helm of this film, bringing Josh Friedman’s brilliant screenplay to life. In the lead roles, we have Owen Teague as Noa, Freya Allen shining as Nova, Kevin Durand impressing as Proximus Caesar, Peter Macon adding depth as Raka, and William H. Macy delivering a captivating performance as Trevathan. The production team included Wes Ball himself, Joe Hartwick Jr, Rick Jaffa, Amanda Silver, and Jason Reed, with the esteemed duo of Peter Chernin and Jenno Topping serving as executive producers.
