KRAFTON’s rival to The Sims, InZoi, debuted in early access with a substantial number of players, yet left many stunned when they discovered an unexpected aspect enabling characters to murder children within the game.
As a gamer, I’ve noticed that most video games strictly prohibit the murder of children, unless it’s within the context of mods. But here’s an interesting twist: InZoi grants players the ability to cause harm, specifically running over kids with fast vehicles.
InZoi lets players drive over children
In the game InZoi, users have the exciting ability to jump behind the wheel and traverse the game environment. This unique feature sets it apart from The Sims, as when driving, players may unintentionally or deliberately collide with other characters, resulting in them tumbling and losing vitality.
In a Reddit discussion about an early-access game, players discovered that they could encounter a child on the map and mark them with a signal, causing the child to perish. This appears to be unintended, as it happens with any character.
The player commented, “Experimenting during the pre-release phase often involves testing the game’s limits.” He explained, “This is how you identify glitches, problems, and so on. One issue I discovered is that you can apparently drive onto the elementary school premises and cause harm to the students. Given that the game carries a T rating at launch, they might want to reconsider this aspect.
I don’t think that Krafton realizes that you can run over children in inZOI

As a fan, it seems evident that driving a vehicle capable of hitting child characters isn’t intended, possibly a glitch or unintended feature in the game. Given the game aims to maintain its “T for Teen” rating similar to The Sims, this element should be addressed and eliminated to ensure the appropriate age-related classification is preserved.
Despite some individuals remaining unidentified, it’s clear that they find humor in this situation. Regardless of whether the game undergoes further updates or not, there’s a strong possibility (let’s keep our fingers crossed) that someone will recreate the feature using modding tools, as many players have expressed a wish to perform an action akin to “kicking a ball through the goal post” in a playground setting.
