As a huge fan of Indian cinema, I’m thrilled to share that the adrenaline-pumping action thriller “Kill” is finally coming to digital platforms for us fans to enjoy at home! I was fortunate enough to witness its premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival last year, where it rightfully earned the first runner-up award for Midnight Madness’ People’s Choice Award. The film left me on the edge of my seat and had me craving more.
After the U.S. theater premiere on July 4, Lionsgate has announced the digital release date for the latest Indian action thriller, “Kill,” which previously screened at the 2023 Toronto International Film Festival as the runner-up for the Midnight Madness People’s Choice Award before its big-screen debut.
When is the Kill digital release date?
Starting July 23, I’ll have the chance to rent or buy “Kill” digitally. This movie made a strong first impression when it was released and has kept its Certified Fresh status on Rotten Tomatoes with a current Tomatometer score of 90%, based on 91 reviews. After receiving such positive critical reception, I heard that an English remake of “Kill” is in the works from the producers of “John Wick.”
“Army commando Amrit discovers that his beloved Tulika is being forced into marriage against her will. In a brave attempt to prevent this, he hops on a train heading to New Delhi. However, his journey takes an unexpected turn when a violent gang of thieves, led by the merciless Fani, threaten the passengers. Amidst the chaos, Amrit puts himself in harm’s way to protect them, resulting in an exhilarating battle that transforms an ordinary train ride into an action-packed adventure.”
Nikhil Nagesh Bhat is the writer and director of the movie titled “Kill.” The film features Lakshya in the role of Amrit, Tanya Maniktala portrays Tulika, Raghav Juyal plays Fani, Ashish Vidyarthi acts as Beni, Harsh Chhaya is Baldev Singh Thakur, Abhishek Chauhan depicts Viresh, and Parth Tiwari interprets Siddhi, among others. The production of this film is being handled by Hiroo Yash Johar, Karan Johar, Apoorva Mehta, Guneet Monga Kapoor, and Achin Jain.
