Later on his journey home, Kid Cudi phoned Diddy to ask why he was at his residence, to which Diddy replied that he wished to discuss something with him. Upon returning home, however, Diddy had already left. To his surprise, Kid Cudi found his Christmas gifts for the family opened and his dog confined in a bathroom. “I felt like challenging him, I wanted to have a fight,” said Kid Cudi, but ultimately chose not to do so and instead contacted the authorities instead.
A few weeks following that unfortunate event, I found myself saying that my prized Porsche 911 convertible had been set ablaze while it sat peacefully in my driveway. At the time, I happened to be at a friend’s place instead of home. It was my dog-sitter who got in touch with me, alerting me to the fire. The court was presented with pictures of the charred interior, along with what seemed to be a hole in the roof. To add to the mystery, there was a Molotov cocktail on the passenger seat.
The day following the fire incident, Cudi sat down with Diddy in a Los Angeles hotel. He expressed his concern saying, “After the fire, I felt things were getting too intense. I needed to discuss this with him,” and they parted ways after their talk. However, when Cudi brought up the topic of his Porsche 911, Diddy reportedly gave him a chilly gaze and replied, “I have no idea what you’re referring to.” Cudi felt Diddy was being dishonest but chose to let it go, and there were no further developments. Years later, Cudi asserted that Diddy apologized to him “for everything” when they unexpectedly crossed paths at a hotel.
At the given point, Cudi stated under oath that he didn’t have problems with anyone apart from Diddy. Just a few days ago in court, Cassie shared her account that Diddy had made threats against Cudi, saying he would destroy Cudi’s car and cause him harm, following the revelation of their relationship.
Currently, Diddy is dealing with one charge of racketeering conspiracy, three charges related to human trafficking (involving force, deceit, or duress), and two charges of facilitating prostitution through transportation.
