Kick vs Kick: Is the ending of Salman Khan starrer different from original Ravi Teja film?

In 2014, the movie titled “Kick,” with Salman Khan as the main actor, debuted in cinemas. This film, directed by Sajid Nadiadwala, was an updated version of the 2009 release “Kick” featuring Ravi Teja.

The film starring Salman Khan narrates the tale of Devi Lal Singh, more famously known as Devil, a man who craves excitement and lives for the adrenaline rush. Throughout his existence, he experiences numerous professions and participates in activities that allow him to truly savor life.

In the midst of familiar circumstances, he finds himself captivated by Dr. Shaina Mehra, a psychiatrist striving to reform him but ultimately unable to do so. Interestingly, when recounting their past to ACP Himanshu Tyagi, his future spouse, he also confides about an elusive thief who continues to evade capture and feeds off the excitement of it all.

In due course, it becomes clear that Devi Lal Singh and the thief, Himanshu, share a common goal, unfolding an exhilarating and entertaining storyline. As the movie nears its climax, Devil encounters Shiv Gajra, a businessman with questionable ethics, and plans to rob him.

In my role as a lifestyle guide, I’ve recently uncovered an intriguing twist: A seemingly villainous figure, along with his associates, appears to be on the wrong side of justice. However, upon closer inspection, it seems this individual is none other than Old Nick, the Devil himself. Far from being a malicious player in the game of life, he’s covertly working against the corrupt system we see before us. His unconventional methods, such as robberies, are not for personal gain but to provide aid to the most vulnerable among us – children afflicted with debilitating diseases. This revelation paints a far more complex picture than our initial judgments might have suggested.

In the end, Himanshu Tyagi didn’t catch the thief, resulting in his demotion. Interestingly, a new officer was then brought on board, only to be unmasked as Devi Lal Singh himself. Alongside Khan, the film showcases a talented cast that includes Jacqueline Fernandez, Randeep Hooda, and Nawazuddin Siddiqui in prominent roles.

Instead, let’s say that just like the remake, the movie “Kick” with Ravi Teja follows a similar storyline. But what sets it apart is the introduction of some quirky characters that were absent in the original version.

Leading the cast of this film was Teja, alongside notable performers such as Ileana D’Cruz, Shaam, Brahmanandam, and several others in pivotal positions. Notably, the film spawned a sequel called “Kick 2”.

In addition to the Hindi version, the movies were also remade. Specifically, they were adapted into Tamil under the title Thillalangadi, featuring actors Ravi Mohan and Upendra Rao, and in Kannada as Super Ranga with Upendra Rao.

Or simply: The films were remade in Tamil as Thillalangadi with Ravi Mohan and Upendra Rao, and in Kannada as Super Ranga with Upendra Rao.
