Legendary WWE Hall of Famer Kevin Nash expresses his disagreement with the idea of rapper Travis Scott joining forces with John Cena and Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson’s faction in the WWE. Instead, Nash proposes Randy Orton as a more fitting member for their group. At the WWE Elimination Chamber event held in Toronto, spectators were left astounded when John Cena made a surprising shift in allegiance and aligned himself with The Rock and Travis Scott.
At the conclusion of the show, the rapper joined forces with Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson to challenge WWE Undisputed Champion Cody Rhodes. The Rock pressed Rhodes for a response, imploring him to accept his Corporate Champion role and surrender to him. Despite Rhodes’ rejection, an unexpected development unfolded: John Cena, who had earned a WrestleMania 41 title match against Rhodes, switched allegiances and teamed up with The Final Boss and Travis Scott.
At the close of the show, Cena, The Rock, and Scott stood victoriously on the stage, hinting at a potential new partnership. In this week’s WWE RAW episode, Cena later explained his shift towards becoming a “heel”. He asserted that the fans were manipulating him into their service, and he unequivocally stated that he was severing ties with them.
Although he didn’t explicitly say so, it remains unclear if he is formally allied with The Rock and Travis Scott. Therefore, whether this could be the start of a new villain team is still undecided. WWE legend Kevin Nash opines that Travis Scott might not be suitable for the role, and instead, Randy Orton might be more fitting to join forces with John Cena and The Rock.
Kevin Nash wants Randy Orton to join Cena & The Rock faction over Travis Scott
On his podcast Kliq This, Kevin Nash expressed that recruiting a seasoned wrestler such as Randy Orton would be more advantageous compared to Travis Scott. He explained, “It’s better to have Randy Orton team up with Cena and The Rock. Right now it might seem like copying, but if you marketed it… I don’t believe Travis Scott is the ideal person for that third spot. If you could get someone back like Austin or Undertaker, if they still had a year left in them, then it would be different. It wouldn’t involve any of the newcomers. However, we’ve all reached our expiration date. I think Randy Orton is looking great at the moment.” [Source: Ewrestlingnews]
At WrestleMania 41, WWE is arranging a confrontation between Randy Orton and Kevin Owens. As Orton’s heroic character (babyface) persists, he finds himself at odds with Owens. Simultaneously, John Cena stays committed to his rivalry with Cody Rhodes.
There’s growing speculation that Randy Orton and John Cena might clash soon. Given that WWE has announced Backlash will be held in St. Louis on May 10, which is Orton’s hometown, many fans are anticipating a potential confrontation between these two at this event.
