As a seasoned gamer and Lego enthusiast with a penchant for movies that push boundaries, I can hardly contain my excitement for the upcoming release of “Piece by Piece.” The idea of Pharrell Williams’ life story being told through a Lego lens is nothing short of ingenious. It’s like someone took my childhood dreams and brought them to life on the silver screen.
I’m thrilled to share that fresh sets of “Piece by Piece” posters have been released, offering a sneak peek into how some famous faces from our upcoming movie will be transformed into Lego characters!
The recently unveiled posters for the film aren’t overly descriptive about its plot, but they do offer sneak peeks of some of the numerous famous guest appearances in the movie. Among these are Kendrick Lamar, Justin Timberlake, Jay Z, Daft Punk, Pusha T, Snoop Dogg, and several others.

The movie ‘Piece By Piece’ offers an extraordinary cinematic journey, showcasing the unique ingenuity of Pharrell Williams, brick by brick with LEGO. Rather than creating a conventional biography, Pharrell aimed to inspire viewers by telling his tale in a way that ignites the imagination. Born from his distinctive perspective, ‘Piece By Piece’ transcends categories and defies assumptions, immersing audiences in a LEGO universe where anything is imaginable.
As a passionate gamer, I can’t wait to dive into the captivating world of “Piece By Piece,” directed by none other than Morgan Neville, a filmmaker renowned for crafting some of the most critically acclaimed documentaries. His impressive portfolio includes masterpieces like 20 Feet from Stardom (2013), Won’t You Be My Neighbor? (2018), They’ll Love Me When I’m Dead, Roadrunner: A Film About Anthony Bourdain (2021), and the upcoming STEVE! (Martin) A Documentary in 2 Pieces (2024). Each of his works has left an indelible mark on the documentary genre, and I can’t wait to see what he brings to “Piece By Piece.
In collaboration with Williams, Caitrin Rogers, Mimi Valdés, and Shani Saxon, Neville is involved in the production of the film. Meanwhile, Jill Wilfert and Keith Malone hold the roles of executive producers.
