Keanu Reeves has shared some news about the possibility of a second Constantine movie. In a conversation with Inverse, he discussed the project stating: “For over a decade, Francis Lawrence and I have been striving to bring this film into existence, and just recently we’ve developed a storyline and presented it to DC Studios. They’ve given us the green light, so now we’re planning to write the script.
Supporters of the 2005 movie can relax, as Reeves confirmed that the upcoming sequel will carry on within the universe they established twenty years back. “We won’t deviate from that. John Constantine is going to experience even greater torment.
The television show Constantine, inspired by the DC/Vertigo comics, featured the acting talents of Reeves, Rachel Weisz, Peter Stormare, Tilda Swinton, Djimon Hounsou, and Shia LaBeouf.
