Karthi reveals both Kaithi and Meiyazhagan were shot entirely during night but are different in THIS one way

As a lifestyle expert with a profound appreciation for the Tamil cinema industry, I must say that Karthi’s upcoming film, Meiyazhagan, is shaping up to be a captivating tale of familial bonds and reconnection. His humorous comparison between Kaithi and Meiyazhagan, highlighting the absence of fight scenes in the latter, not only showcases his wit but also piques our curiosity about this promising project.

On September 27, 2024, I’ll be gracing the silver screen with my new film, “Meiyazhagan.” This movie, directed by the talented Premkumar, who gained fame from ’96, is creating quite a buzz. Recently, we had an exciting promotional event where I shared some light-hearted banter, comparing Meiyazhagan to Lokesh Kanagaraj’s “Kaithi.” Can’t wait for you all to see it!

In a brief video posted by Thi Cinemas, the actor joked, “Working on Kaithi was an exceptional journey because we filmed the entire movie at night and Lokesh killed me daily with fight scenes. Fortunately, Meiyazhagan also takes place over one night, but don’t be disappointed – there are no fight scenes here.

The director Bala once mentioned that a simple conversation between two people could make a great movie. In the same way, reuniting with someone after a long time can lead to many enjoyable moments. I’m still amazed by how this man (Premkumar) managed to create such a film, considering he claims it was written in just six days,” the actor continued.

In addition, the actor gratefully acknowledged Kamal Haasan for providing his voice in two tunes within the film, and he expressed appreciation towards his brother Suriya for taking on the project and ensuring it reaches its intended viewers.

As a devoted follower, I’m excited to share that the upcoming movie “Meiyazhagan,” starring Karthi and Arvind Swamy, tells the heartwarming story of two long-lost cousin brothers. The narrative unfolds as one returns home for a wedding in his village. Earlier, the filmmakers revealed the teaser, which exudes a positive, upbeat vibe that leaves me eager to see more.

In addition to the main stars, this movie features notable performances from actors such as Rajkiran, Sri Divya, among others, in pivotal roles. Notably, it’s the musical creation of Govind Vasantha, who has also collaborated with Premkumar on ’96.

Moving on to Karthi’s upcoming projects, he will soon be seen in the movie titled “Vaa Vaathiyaar.” In this film, Krithi Shetty plays the female lead, and it is being helmed by director Nalan Kumarasamy. Additionally, Karthi is currently busy with the production of his sequel film, “Sardar 2.
