Karthi spills beans on Suriya’s lucky presence in his life and career
At the gathering, the Sardaar star reminisced about the period of his first movie role and fondly remembered the inspiring impact his brother Suriya had on him. He noted that Suriya accomplished numerous deeds for him unbeknownst to him.
He expressed that having a brother is something truly unique, and he considers himself fortunate in this regard. He has gained considerable knowledge and experience from his brother, who has also been very helpful to him. When he was first introduced into the world, he felt an abundance of love.
Karthi to pair up with Anushka Shetty in Kaithi 2?
It’s worth noting that Karthi will team up with Lokesh Kanagaraj once more for Kaithi 2. Although production hasn’t started yet, it’s reported by Asianet that Anushka Shetty is set to star as the main female character in this upcoming project.
At present, these reports remain unverified, and the official statement from the production company has not been released yet.
When Suriya rejected comparisons with his brother
Frequently, fans compare Suriya and Karthi. During a past conversation with Karthik Subbaraj, the actor acknowledged this comparison and stated that he can’t replicate the work his brother does.
In relation to the movie “Meiyazhagan” by the same name, Suriya once stated, “I can’t emulate Karthi. I can’t play the role of Meiyazhagan.

Meanwhile, it’s also worth mentioning that Suriya has been quite occupied on the professional front recently. Following a moderate success with the movie ‘Retro’, he’s currently engrossed in his project ‘Karuppu’ alongside RJ Balaji. In this film, he shares screen space with Trisha Krishnan.
Additionally, he is working on a project together with Venky Atluri, which is yet to be released. For the first time, Suriya will share romantic scenes with actress Mamitha Baiju in this upcoming film.
