The upcoming movie “Kannappa,” featuring Vishnu Manchu as the main character, is set to premiere in cinemas on April 25, 2025. Prior to its release, Vishnu Manchu engaged with online users through social media platforms, where he shared that Prabhas did not accept any payment for his role in the film.
During a Q&A on Twitter, a fan inquired if reports were correct that Prabhas worked without payment. Vishnu affirmed these reports to be accurate.
In the future, a different online user inquired about the length of time it took Prabhas to agree to the role in Kannappa and his immediate response upon viewing the footage. Vishnu answered, “He only needed a couple of moments to agree, as he adored it greatly.
The movie titled “Kannappa,” featuring Vishnu Manchu, is a grand historical drama with an epic feel, crafted by director Mukesh Kumar Singh. Financed by experienced actor Mohan Babu, the film revolves around the story of Kannappa, a devout follower of Lord Shiva from Hindu mythology.
Accompanying Vishnu in the starring position are a variety of talented actors including Mohan Babu, R. Sarathkumar, Arpit Ranka, Kaushal Manda, Rahul Madhav, Devaraj, and Mukesh Rishi, as well as several others.
Moreover, noteworthy appearances in the movie are made by actors like Mohanlal, Prabhas, Kajal Aggarwal, and Akshay Kumar (making his debut in Telugu). The script was written by Vishnu Manchu himself, while Stephen Devassy took care of the film’s melodies and background music.
Speaking from my perspective as a lifestyle enthusiast, I’m excited to share that I’m currently engrossed in a cinematic journey with the talented Prabhas. We’re working together on a project provisionally named “Fauji,” under the visionary direction of Hanu Raghavapudi. This period piece is generating buzz for its potential portrayal of Prabhas as a British Indian Army officer, promising an intriguing blend of history and drama.
Beyond excited here, I, your fervent fan, can hardly contain my anticipation! You see, Prabhas is all set to captivate us once more, this time as the lead in The Raja Saab – a chilling comedy extravaganza under the brilliant direction of Maruthi. And guess what? Malavika Mohanan and Nidhhi Agerwal are joining him on this thrilling journey, gracing the screen as the stunning female leads!
Additionally, the performer boasts an enticing slate of upcoming movies, featuring Spirit, Salaar Chapter 2, Kalki 2898 AD Part 2, and a production helmed by Prasanth Varma.
