Vishnu Manchu’s upcoming movie titled “Kannappa” is gearing up for an impressive premiere in April 2025. This highly anticipated production boasts a versatile ensemble cast, featuring significant appearances from renowned actors, and is set within an engaging mythological setting directed by Mukesh Kumar Singh. Recently, the team revealed the first glimpse of superstar Mohanlal, who will portray a powerful role in this film.

On the platform previously known as Twitter, creators unveiled the initial poster featuring Mohanlal in the role of Kirata from Kannappa. The esteemed actor convincingly portrayed a fearsome tribal persona, blending divine essence and majesty within his mythological character.

For those unfamiliar, apart from Mohanlal, actors such as Prabhas, Kajal Aggarwal, and others are expected to appear in special roles within this film. At present, the production team has not revealed their characters’ appearances, maintaining suspense and keeping fans eagerly anticipating.

Recently, the production of the movie encountered a problem when sneak peeks of Prabhas’ potential character as Nandi from the Kannappa set were leaked on social media. This created quite a buzz, prompting the makers to issue a firm warning on social media and offer a reward of 5 lakh rupees to anyone who could help trace the source of this leak.

Initially delayed, Kannappa will ultimately hit the big screens on April 25, 2025.
