Vishnu Manchu is readying an impressive multi-star production for his upcoming film titled Kannappa, a Telugu fantasy drama. The movie has secured a June release date and boasts cameos from some of the most prominent figures in Indian cinema. However, just before its premiere, the producers find themselves in a significant risk.
Kannappa’s unreleased footage goes missing
Before planning its marketing campaign, a crucial hard drive containing previously unseen and significant video footage from the film has vanished.
According to an article by 123 Telugu, the hard drive contained important footage and was intended for transport from a visual effects (VFX) studio in Mumbai to a film production company based in the southern part of India.
Initially, Raghu personally accepted the item in the producer’s office and then passed it on to Charitha for safekeeping. Unfortunately, Charitha is now missing, adding another layer of complexity to the situation.
Kannappa producers file police case over missing hard drive
In an effort to recover missing footage, the executive producer of Kannappa, Vijay Kumar, has reported the incident to the police for assistance. The investigation is currently underway with full vigor.
The event has had a profound, startling effect on those responsible for it, potentially jeopardizing the movie’s premiere. At present, we are yet to receive further information regarding the situation from the creators themselves.

Meanwhile, it’s worth noting that Kannappa has been captivating audiences with its impressive roster of notable celebrities such as Prabhas, Akshay Kumar, Mohanlal, Kajal Aggarwal, among others.
