Kannada Actress Archana Kottige Marries Cricketer BR Sharath in Star-Studded Bengaluru Wedding

On April 23, 2025, Kannada actress Archana Kottige exchanged marriage vows with cricketer BR Sharath. The traditional wedding ceremony took place in Bengaluru and was graced by celebrities hailing from the realms of acting and cricket.

According to glimpses provided by The Times of India, well-known cricketers like Devdutt Padikkal of Royal Challengers Bengaluru and Prasidh Krishna from Gujarat Titans, along with others, were seen at the venue. These players, together with BR Sharath, had previously played as teammates in the Ranji Trophy.

He is a right-handed batsman and also serves as a wicketkeeper. On November 14, 2018, he made a century during his first Ranji Trophy match. Additionally, Sharath led the Indian team in the 2019 ACC Emerging Teams Asia Cup that was held in Bangladesh.

Conversely, Archana Kottige hails from India and primarily acts in Kannada films. Her acting career began in 2018 with the movie Aranyakanda, which was subsequently followed by Vaasu Naan Pakka Commercial.
