Kai Cenat Twitch Account Hack & Ban Explained

It seems that well-known streamer Kai Cenat has experienced a security issue on his Twitch account, reportedly due to the same hacker who previously accessed his TikTok profile. Fans detected the breach when they noticed modified profile pictures and a message from the hacker in Cenat’s bio. At present, users can visit Cenat’s Twitch profile, but none of his earlier videos are visible on the platform.

What happened to Kai Cenat’s Twitch account?

According to reports, on April 3rd, the Twitch account of YouTuber Kai Cenat was allegedly hacked. The altered display picture on his Twitch profile read “SAVA,” and the intruder modified Cenat’s bio with a message that stated, “I got your Discord suspended, Mr. Cenat. This is what you get.” (As reported by Dexerto)

Concerned followers expressed their findings on social media platforms, discussing a recent change in Cenat’s Twitch profile picture and the absence of video content on his Twitch account. Interestingly, the links provided in Cenat’s Twitch bio continue to redirect toward his Instagram and X (formerly Twitter) profiles.

As a gamer, I’ve found myself in this situation before: Hackers aren’t newcomers when it comes to gaining access to Cenat’s social media accounts. Back in February, during his Batman streamathon, the same hacker struck again, taking over his TikTok account. Thankfully, it didn’t take long for things to return to normal, just a couple of hours later.

So far, the 23-year-old social media sensation hasn’t addressed any questions from their fans. On platform X, one fan expressed, “I bet Kai is going crazy over this!” Another humorously commented, “It seems like the hackers are playing the role of anime villains.

I’ve been pondering about this: Since Cenat’s Twitch channel no longer has new videos, some of us fans have found ourselves wondering if there might be a ban in play on that platform. Yet, when we visit his page, there’s no “suspended” message like usual. This could potentially mean that the content was erased by a hacker, rather than Cenat being banned himself.

On Twitch, Cenat ranks as the fourth most popular and subscribed streamer, boasting a massive following of 16.8 million users. His meteoric rise to the top of the platform earned him the titles “Streamer of the Year” and “Best Just Chatting Streamer” at the 2024 Streamer Awards. Additionally, he received a nomination for “Best Streamed Event.” In August of the previous year, Rolling Stone placed Cenat at number 1 on their list of “25 Most Influential Creators of 2024.
