As a long-time gamer and follower of the gaming community, I’ve seen my fair share of drama and pranks, but the recent incident between Kai Cenat and Max Major has left me utterly bewildered. It seems like they were just having fun, but things took an unexpected turn that’s now stirring up controversy.
Kai Cenat is well-known on social media, particularly for his distinctive content on Twitch. Recently, he collaborated with magician Max Major to create a prank video as part of Mafiathon 2 subathon. But what was meant to be entertaining has now sparked controversy. So, let’s discuss the recent live stream by Kai Cenat and Max Major on Twitch.
Here is everything you need to know about the latest chaos.
Kai Cenat ‘hanged’ Max Major in magician ‘prank’ gone wrong
Lately, Cenat entertained viewers during a live Twitch broadcast by playing a practical joke on YouTuber Max Major. Initially, it seemed like they were simply enjoying themselves, but things took a sour turn in the process.
In short order, a 34-second video from the subathon became widely popular on X and Reddit. The video showed Major with a noose around its neck, and Cenat was instructed to tug on one of the ropes in front of him. When Cenat pulled the red-handled rope, Major appeared to be floating in the air as he was suspended by the noose. Afterward, the 22-year-old streamer asked his cameraman to stop filming the scene.
He stated, ”What the f**k? Wait, no, no! I’m not getting banned! N***a, I might get banned! Is he good? I’ll stay here. I’ll stay here! Can I stay here?” (via Sportskeeda)
Beyond this point, Max Major stunned viewers during the livestream when he revealed a surprising truth about himself. He confessed that his actions on the broadcast were part of a premeditated act. Moreover, he stated that ever since their initial encounter, Cenat had been goading him to falter and tonight, he delivered exactly what Cenat desired. The magician then disclosed that he manipulated Cenat into selecting the wrong lever (red handle).
Later on, I found myself voicing my discontent towards Major. I said, “Set them free! He wants us to represent… we’re just ordinary people who might appear a bit eccentric.” The two-time Streamer of the Year continued, “It’s not worth it, buddy. Us getting worked up at him, we just seem like a group of African Americans who come off as a bit crazy. So, let’s leave that to fate, buddy.
As of now, Max Major has not responded to Kai Cenat’s statement.
