The upcoming film starring Jayam Ravi and Nithya Menen titled “Kadhalikka Neramillai” is gearing up for a theater release soon. The makers have officially revealed that the movie will premiere in cinemas on January 14, 2025.
In addition to announcing the movie release date on January 14th, 2025, the creators also wrote a caption that reads, “The more you fight it, the more you’ll find yourself falling in love! Kadhalikka Neramillai will hit theaters.” They revealed some fresh glimpses of the film as well.

The forthcoming film titled “Kadhalikka Neramillai” is a romantic comedy in the Tamil language, penned and helmed by Kiruthiga Udhayanidhi – who happens to be married to Tamil Nadu’s minister, Udhayanidh Stalin. Notably, she was previously involved with directing the web series, “Paper Rocket.
Apart from its principal stars, the movie features a talented group of actors such as Yogi Babu, Vinay Rai, John Kokken, Lal, and several others in significant roles. Additionally, this film represents Jayam Ravi’s 33rd film project, where he works with Nithya Menen for the first time together.
Moreover, it’s worth noting that the film’s music is created by AR Rahman, who has already shared two of its tracks: “Yennai Izhukkuthadi” and “Lavender Neramae.
Additionally, it’s worth mentioning that Jayam Ravi will star in a significant part for Sivakarthikeyan’s upcoming project, provisionally known as SK25. This film, overseen by Sudha Kongara, represents her initial venture working with both Sivakarthikeyan and Ravi.
In this upcoming movie, it looks like Sivakarthikeyan will be taking on the lead character. It’s likely that Jayam Ravi has been brought into the project to portray the primary villain, while Atharvaa Murali and newcomer Sreeleela are expected to play secondary roles.
The film is reportedly a resurrection of the long-delayed collaboration between director Sudha Kongara and actor Suriya, originally dubbed Suriya 43 or Puranaanooru.
Originally, the movie was slated as a reunion project for Sudha and Suriya since their collaboration in 2020’s Soorarai Pottru. Notable actors such as Dulquer Salmaan, Nazriya Nazim, and Vijay Varma were expected to have significant roles. Unfortunately, due to unspecified circumstances, the film was put on hold, leading Suriya to work on Retro with Karthik Subbaraj instead.
Apart from Kadhalikka Neramillai and SK25, Jayam Ravi is set to star in another movie titled Genie. This upcoming film will feature him alongside Krithi Shetty, Kalyani Priyadarshan, and Wamiqa Gabbi. Furthermore, he has another project, provisionally named JR34, lined up as well.
