Justin Timberlake, known for hits like “Can’t Stop the Feeling,” had to cancel his concert in Columbus, Ohio due to health reasons. The concert was set to be the last show of the U.S. leg of his Forget Tomorrow World Tour, which was scheduled for Thursday, February 27. After the announcement, fans expressed their well-wishes for Timberlake’s speedy recovery on Instagram.
Why did Justin Timberlake cancel Columbus concert?
Just yesterday, I, a devoted Justin Timberlake fan, found myself feeling a deep sense of sadness upon learning about his heart-wrenching announcement via Instagram on February 27th. In that post, our beloved singer shared the devastating news: he was compelled to cancel the Columbus concert due to falling ill with the flu. He confided that making this difficult decision has left him “heartbroken” and expressed his regret, saying, “I have to cancel tonight’s show. I showed up for soundcheck fighting the flu, but it seems to have gotten the best of me. It breaks my heart to disappoint you and my team who worked tirelessly to make this concert a reality.

Additionally, the “Mirrors” performer guaranteed ticket-holding fans that they would receive reimbursements for their purchased tickets.
The day preceding the Columbus performance, Timberlake shared his enthusiasm about the event in a post. In this message, he acknowledged his “tour companions” with admiration.
Previously, the Columbus show of Justin Timberlake’s tour was postponed due to health issues. In October 2024, he announced that he had bronchitis and laryngitis, which forced him to reschedule several shows in the U.S., including the one in Columbus. He apologized to his fans, saying, “I’m really sorry, but I have to postpone the upcoming shows from October 23rd through November 2nd due to my health. I promise I’ll make it up to you.
Consequently, the Columbus show had to be moved to February 27th initially. Unfortunately, the new performance scheduled for that date has since been called off by the artist themselves.
Starting from April 29, 2024, Justin Timberlake’s “The Forget Tomorrow” World Tour will run until it ends on July 20, 2025.
