A fresh interview with the director of “It Ends With Us,” Justin Baldoni, has ignited speculation about Taylor Swift possibly having an unseen role in the movie’s production. Although it was believed that her involvement was minimal, Baldoni’s remarks hint that she might have influenced casting choices.

A freshly re-emerged interview hints at Taylor Swift having a more significant part in “It Ends With Us” than initially disclosed. The movie’s director unveiled that Swift played a crucial role in casting Isabela Ferrer, who portrays a younger version of Blake Lively’s character, Lily Bloom.
During an earlier Access Hollywood conversation, Baldoni disclosed that he presented Ferrer’s audition video to both Lively and Swift. According to him, their reactions were swift and positive – “I showed Blake and Taylor her casting tape, and they both exclaimed, ‘Yes! Her!'” said Baldoni. Ferrer later confirmed in a different interview that Swift’s feedback played a role in her being cast. In an interview with Extra, Ferrer expressed her surprise when she learned that Swift had been instrumental in the audition process, stating, “I found out after I got the part, and it blew my mind…I can’t find the words to express how I felt.
Besides making actor choices, Lively disclosed that Swift played a role in picking tunes for the movie. She herself requested and got approval from Swift to use her song “My Tears Ricochet.” In an interview with CBS Mornings, Lively stated, “I believe she went through the entire experience with me.
Earlier reports suggested that Taylor Swift was attempting to stay clear of the legal conflict between Baldoni and Lively. In January, Baldoni mentioned Swift in his lawsuit against Lively, leading to assumptions about her greater role in the movie. As per a recent Page Six article, Swift feels exploited by her long-time friend Lively. She is uneasy about her name being tied to the dispute and has decided to detach herself from the situation, according to the report.
