What happens in the Juror #2 trailer?
The trailer for Juror #2 features Hoult narrating an incident where he mistook something for a deer while driving home at night. Since there was nothing nearby when he stopped and looked around, he assumed it was a deer. Yet, upon being chosen for jury duty in a murder case, Hoult’s character Justin Kemp reconsiders this assumption, speculating that what he saw might have been the murder victim instead.
In addition to Hoult and Collette, the cast also includes Zoey Deutch, Kiefer Sutherland, Gabriel Basso, Leslie Bibb, Chris Messina, J.K. Simmons, Amy Aquino, Adrienne C. Moore, Cedric Yarbrough, and Francesca Eastwood as Juror #2.
Previously, Clint Eastwood had directed movies like “Cry Macho” (2021) and “Richard Jewell” (2019). However, the script for his upcoming film was penned by Jonathan Abrams.
As a fellow enthusiast, I can confidently say that this movie piques my interest, something I believe many others would share. In the words of Clint Eastwood, it delves into the ambiguous regions where our daily lives reside, compelling us to make our own judgments. It’s fascinating how a tale can put a character in a moral quandary, and this is no exception – we can all envision ourselves in similar situations or find parallels in our own lives.
He commented, “Our cast was truly exceptional, spearheaded by Nicholas Hoult, who left me thoroughly impressed – he embodies my definition of a movie star. Everyone was highly professional, well-prepared, and eager to contribute, but beyond that, they brought humor to the set every day. For me, whether I’m directing or acting, I believe it’s crucial to find joy in our work, and we certainly did.
On November 1, 2024, Juror #2 is set to hit movie theaters across the United States, distributed by Warner Bros. Pictures.
