As a die-hard Jurassic Park fan since my childhood, I can hardly contain my excitement for the upcoming installment in the franchise, Jurassic World: Rebirth. The title itself sends shivers down my spine, evoking a sense of renewal and rebirth, not just for the dinosaurs on Isla Nublar but also for the entire Jurassic series.
Based on Amblin Entertainment’s trademark applications, there may have been a revelation regarding the title of the upcoming installment in the Jurassic World series, numbered as the fourth film.
As a longtime fan of the Jurassic franchise, I’m thrilled to hear that the seventh installment is set to be titled “Jurassic World: Rebirth.” Having grown up watching the original Jurassic Park movies, I’ve seen the series evolve over the years. And based on my personal experience and the general sentiment among fans, it seems we’re in for a fresh start.
Gareth Edwards, the mastermind behind both “Godzilla” and “Rogue One: A Star Wars Story,” will be at the helm of the next installment in the “Jurassic World” series. Details about this new adventure are scarce, but we do know that it’s a standalone film featuring an entirely new Jurassic era. Three adults and three teenagers find themselves stranded on the island, marking the beginning of an exciting and unknown journey.
I’m excited about the upcoming changes in the franchise as it’s being promoted as a fresh start. Fingers crossed that this means a departure from the Jurassic Park films as we know them.
Who stars in Jurassic World 4/Jurassic World: Rebirth?
In Jurassic World: Rebirth, a fresh cast will be introduced to mark the beginning of a new chapter. Scarlett Johansson from Avengers: Infinity War headlines this ensemble, joined by Jonathan Bailey (Wicked), Rupert Friend (A Simple Favor), Mahershala Ali (Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse), Manuel Garcia-Ruffo (6 Underground), Luna Blaise (Manifest), David Iacono (The Summer I Turned Pretty), and Audrina Miranda. This new team will bring unique energies to the storyline.
Last month, Scarlett Johansson, the lead actress in our project, shared her enthusiasm about joining the franchise during a recent interview.
“I’m a huge fan of Jurassic Park,” Johansson shared with Comicbook.com in an interview. “It’s one of the first movies I clearly recall watching in the cinema. The experience is etched in my memory, almost like it was a turning point or a moment of awe for me. I can’t put into words how thrilled I am.”
“For over a decade, I’ve been eager to join this franchise by any means. I was prepared to meet an untimely demise or be devoured by whatever creatures existed, I even offered to help with craft services. My determination finally paid off and the opportunity came at this moment in time, which feels almost surreal to me.”
