As a gaming enthusiast diving into the world of streaming shows, I’m all geared up for the upcoming K-drama series, “Romance in the House,” airing on JTBC and Netflix. This engaging drama blends the heart-warming elements of romance, laughter, and family bonding. The plot unfolds around a man who steps back into his familiar surroundings after a long decade, but this time with a twist that promises an exciting tale!

In this storyline, we find a man who, following the collapse of his business, vanishes from his family for an extended period of eleven years. Later, he reappears as their affluent landlord, leading to a complex homecoming. The drama promises to unfold not one but two romantic narratives – one featuring a young couple and another involving a middle-aged pair.

In the TV series “Romance in the House,” we have Ji Jin-Hee playing Byeon Mu-Jin, Kim Jee-Soo portraying Geum Ae-Yeon, Son Na-Eun as Byeon Mi-Rae, and Choi Min-Ho stepping into the role of Nam Tae-Pyeong. After a two-year hiatus, a member from the popular group SHINee is making his screen comeback.

As a fervent admirer, let me share that the forthcoming series revolves around the Byeon family. Once married, Mu-Jin and Ae-Yeon raised two children, Mi-Rae and Hyun-Jae. However, Mu-Jin’s persistent business failures led to the loss of his family through divorce. He disappeared from their lives for 11 years, only to reappear as a prosperous landlord. In the meantime, Ae-Yeon has been the sole provider for our children, who have grown up in her care.

In this scenario, Mu-Jin is aiming to make peace with his former spouse, yet Mi-Rae resists the idea. On the other hand, Hyun-Jae backs the plan. As she shields her mother from her father, Mi-rae simultaneously discovers affection for her coworker, Tae-Pyeong.

Meanwhile, fans can soon watch Romance in the House on weekends on JTBC and Netflix.
