Jr NTR on 2 months rest due to injury on Hrithik Roshan co-starrer War 2 sets; further schedules to get delayed

As a seasoned observer of the vibrant and dynamic world of cinema, I must say that Jr NTR’s decision to take a two-month break from acting due to his injury is a wise move, considering the importance of health and wellbeing in our line of work. It’s not uncommon for us to push ourselves to the limits during action sequences, but it’s crucial to remember that our bodies need time to heal.

According to reports from film journalist Amit Karn of Dainik Bhaskar, Jr NTR is planning to take a two-month break due to an injury sustained during action rehearsals on the sets of Hrithik Roshan‘s War 2. This break will postpone the film’s shooting schedule as well.

Based on the report, the release of the movie was initially planned for filming in Mumbai and Italy, but it’s been postponed temporarily. The action scenes scheduled in Mumbai featuring him are expected to take place in October, while the crew is still planning to travel to Italy for song sequences.

Furthermore, since the RRR actor is taking a brief pause, the remaining crew will also manage some action sequences during filming in Mumbai later on. The upcoming movie War 2, led by Hrithik Roshan, is being directed by Ayan Mukerji. Notably, Jr NTR is set to make his formal debut in the YRF Spy Universe within this production.

The post-credits scene of Tiger 3, featuring Salman Khan, reveals that character Kabir, played by Hrithik Roshan, is about to encounter a fresh challenge as a malevolent mastermind prepares to create chaos. With Jr NTR portraying the primary adversary, it promises an exciting confrontation between these two talented actors.

Besides that, Jr NTR has recently completed filming for his upcoming movie, Devara: Part 1, helmed by Koratala Siva. This anticipated action-thriller boasts a star-studded cast including Janhvi Kapoor (making her Telugu acting debut), Saif Ali Khan, Shruti Marathe, Prakash Raj, Srikanth, Shine Tom Chacko, Narain, Kalaiyarasan, Murali Sharma, and several others in significant roles. The film is scheduled to hit theaters on September 27, 2024.

On Sai Ali Khan’s 54th birthday, the filmmakers of Devara revealed a teaser featuring the actor in his role as the main villain. The brief clip showcased Khan adopting an intimidating persona as Bhaira, set to the captivating music score by Anirudh Ravichander.
