- JOURNAL STANDARD celebrates The Dark Knight’s 17th anniversary with a new collection
- The capsule features T-shirts with Heath Ledger’s Joker graphics and quotes
To honor the 17-year anniversary of Christopher Nolan’s “The Dark Knight”, JOURNAL STANDARD has released a fresh collection.
The August-arriving capsule primarily highlights the character of Joker, famously played by the late Heath Ledger in the 2008 film. A selection of T-shirts in white, black, and purple will be included in this release, showcasing graphics of the character along with memorable phrases like “Everything burns” and “Smile, let’s put one on that face.” On the backside, you’ll find designs of Christian Bale as Batman sporting the menacing Joker grin. The front side features a logo representing the cherished trilogy.
In “The Dark Knight,” Ledger appeared in one of his final roles before his passing. He tragically died in January 2008, at the young age of 28, due to an accidental overdose from prescription drugs. Remarkably, he was honored posthumously with a Golden Globe for Best Supporting Actor – Motion Picture and an Oscar for Best Supporting Actor.
Check out the capsule above. The JOURNAL STANDARD x The Dark Knight collection drops mid-August.
