Josh Holloway Tries To Take Down Keith David’s Crime Empire in Max’s Duster Trailer

A new trailer for Max’s Duster has been released.

I’m absolutely thrilled to share that starting next month, I’ll be glued to my screen for a brand-new crime thriller series titled “Duster”, airing on Max! This gripping show is the brainchild of J.J. Abrams and LaToya Morgan, and boasts an impressive cast including Josh Holloway, Rachel Hilson, Keith David, and many more talented actors. Can’t wait to delve into this exciting world of suspense and mystery!

What happens in the Duster trailer?

The trailer for “The Duster” film features Hilson as a police officer pursuing a criminal syndicate led by David. To dismantle this organization, she recruits Josh Holloway, a skilled escape driver, and persuades him to work undercover.

The series Duster is situated in the 1970s Southwest and focuses on a brave getaway driver who works for an expanding criminal organization. However, things become increasingly perilous and foolishly risky when a determined young law enforcement officer arrives, intent on dismantling his crime family.

Alongside Sydney Elisabeth, Greg Grunberg, Camille Guaty, Asivak Koostachin, Adriana Aluna Martinez, and Benjamin Charles Watson, the show’s ensemble is quite diverse and talented.

In the beginning, Abrams and Morgan were responsible for penning the first two episodes. Steph Green took charge of directing and producing these episodes as an executive producer. On the other hand, Abrams and Rachel Rusch Rich serve as executive producers for Duster under Bad Robot, while Morgan continues his role as executive producer at TinkerToy Productions. The show, titled Duster, is produced in partnership with Warner Bros. Television.

In a delightful turn of events, Duster brings together Holloway and Abrams once again. You might remember Holloway for his portrayal of James “Sawyer” Ford on ABC’s Lost, a series co-created by Abrams. Interestingly, Holloway is also famous for his role as Roarke Morris in Yellowstone, while Hilson has graced our screens in shows like The Good Wife, This Is Us, Love Victor, and many others. Recently, David has lent his voice to characters in the upcoming films Mufasa: The Lion King (2024) and Sneaks (2025).

On May 15, 2025, the series “Duster” will make its debut on Max. Each new episode will be aired every week until we reach the final episode of the season, which is scheduled for July 3, 2025.
