Jonathan Bailey Confirms Anthony’s Return in Bridgerton Season 4

As a seasoned gamer who has navigated through countless virtual worlds and storylines, I can’t help but feel a sense of anticipation and excitement upon hearing that Jonathan Bailey will be reprising his role as Anthony in Bridgerton Season 4. Having followed Bailey’s career since his days on Wicked, it’s fascinating to see him return to the world of high society and romance that is Bridgerton.

Despite his flourishing film industry success, Emmy-nominated actor Jonathan Bailey (from Wicked) has affirmed that he will indeed reprise his role as Anthony in the fourth season of Netflix’s Bridgerton. While love blossomed for him during Season 2, Anthony’s screen time in the upcoming season is expected to be limited, given his appearance in only a handful of episodes. The storyline of Season 3 concluded with Anthony and Kate preparing for their first child’s birth in India.

What did Jonathan Bailey say about Bridgerton Season 4?

During a recent interview with Good Morning America, Bailey revealed that he hasn’t read the scripts for Bridgerton Season 4 yet. However, he teased that they already have a target date for the production star of the next installment, which will now be led by Luke Thompson’s Benedict Bridgerton.

He expressed (via X) that he’s excited to delve into the scripts. Essentially, the unique aspect of Bridgerton lies in the myriad paths one can take to find love, a theme the series will undoubtedly delve into. As an elder sibling, he plans to lend his support to the younger cast members as they navigate their roles.

He added, “I’ve got a few weeks marked on my calendar for coming back, and I’m absolutely thrilled about it. Plus, Luke Thompson is going to shine brightly. As for who his romantic interest might be, time will tell!”

The series is executive produced by Shonda Rhimes and showrunner Jess Brownell, based on Julia Quinn’s bestselling novel series. The ensemble cast also includes Nicola Coughlan as Penelope, Luke Newton as Colin, Golda Rosheuvel as Queen Charlotte, Claudia Jessie as Eloise, Hannah Dodd as Francesca, Ruth Gemmell as Lady Violet Bridgerton, Adjoa Andoh as Lady Danbury, Polly Walker as Lady Portia Featherington, Bessie Carter as Prudence, Simone Ashley as Kate, Florence Hunt as Hyacinth, Will Tilston as Gregory, Harriet Cains as Philippa, and Jessica Madsen as Cressida Cowper, with Julie Andrews as the voice of Lady Whistledown.
