At Jolly O Gymkhana, it’s the Vellaikkaran Biriyani Hotel that is managed by Bhavani and her family in Meignanapuram. Unfortunately, their business faces hardships following a scam involving MLA Adaikalaraj on a large catering order, which also results in Thangasamy needing hospitalization. In desperation, Bhavani turns to local moneylender Rocket Ravi for assistance.
Lawyer Poongundran becomes involved in a case accusing Adaikalaraj of swindling 28 families, but unfortunately, he is assassinated by Adaikalaraj’s associates. As the election approaches, Poongundran manages to seize Rs 10 crore that was intended for voter bribery. In a sinister turn of events, Adaikalaraj then hires an assassin to eliminate the lawyer.
Following Poongundran’s passing, Bhavani and her kin concealed his remains in order to spark public outrage. This event resulted in Inspector Idithangi being temporarily suspended and Adaikalaraj being relieved of his duties. The family devised a plan to withdraw the massive sum of 10 crore rupees from a bank account using Poongundran’s deceased body as the means of access.
As an ardent fan, I’ve been following closely the tense standoff between Adaikalaraj and his henchmen. With the invaluable assistance of Kanniga, we managed to execute a daring withdrawal of funds. In the climactic showdown, we masterfully orchestrated a ruse using Poongundran’s corpse, leading poor Kesavan Kutty into a fatal misconception – thinking Adaikalaraj was responsible for Poongundran’s demise.
The cast and crew of Jolly O Gymkhana
In Jolly O Gymkhana, Prabhudeva acts as Lawyer Poongundran, while Madonna Sebastian is Bhavani. Abhirami assumes the role of Chellamma, and Yogi Babu plays Father Martin Luther King Jr. Redin Kingsley is cast as a bus conductor, and Y. G. Mahendran portrays Thangasamy.
In this story, Robo Shankar takes on the position of Adaikalaraj’s right-hand man, while John Vijay brings the character of Inspector Idithangi to life. Sai Dheena steps into the role of the ruthless assassin known as Pottu Bhavani.
