At the 81st Venice International Film Festival on September 4, 2024, the movie “Folie à Deux” was first shown. Critics generally had negative opinions, focusing on the musical parts and the script. However, some appreciated the performances of Phoenix and Gaga. To date, it has made $121 million worldwide, but its production cost was $200 million, meaning it didn’t meet its target earnings.
Notable actors featured in Joker 2 are Joaquin Phoenix, Lady Gaga, Brendan Gleeson, Catherine Keener, Zazie Beetz, among several others.
