Among the various challenges I faced during preparation, the integration of musical and dance elements proved particularly demanding in my already grueling transformation process for the sequel

Phoenix shared with reporters through Variety that he didn’t delve into the specifics of his diet as he believes people aren’t interested in those details. However, he added that this time around, things were a bit more challenging due to an increased amount of dance rehearsals, something he didn’t experience previously. Consequently, it was tougher for him, but he assured everyone that it was safe. He also admitted that, given his age (49), he might not undertake such a challenge again, suggesting this may be his final hurrah

After shining the limelight on Gaga, I couldn’t help but express my admiration for her stunning transformation into Harley Quinn. It was truly impressive!

Bradley Phoenix commented, “Stefani, or Lady Gaga as we know her, underwent significant weight loss,” he recalled. “The first time I worked with you in rehearsals, and then you took a break, when you returned, the change was noticeable. It was truly remarkable.”

Gaga commented, “I believe we evolved into our characters over a while, and we consistently refined every minor aspect.”

During the Joker press tour, there was much talk about the lean, gaunt appearance of Phoenix, the Academy Award winner. He’s keen to ensure that his physical transformation doesn’t overshadow the build-up to the upcoming sequel by not making it the main focus of news headlines

Phoenix commented, “The conversation often turns to it, and it seems like an actor boasting excessively about their weight loss. After that performance, I had grown tired of myself, feeling frustrated for making such a big deal out of it. This time around, I decided, ‘I won’t focus on that.'”
