The much anticipated seventh installment of “Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure“, titled “Steel Ball Run“, has now entered the production phase.

It has been confirmed through years of speculation that the seventh installment of the widely popular anime JoJo’s X is currently in production. The sneak peek was unveiled during JOJODAY’s live broadcast and simultaneously uploaded to Warner Bros. Japan’s YouTube channel. David Productions, renowned for their exceptional animation quality, are responsible for the animation. This team has been instrumental in defining the distinctive visual style of all previous parts.

Steel Ball Run follows the characters Johnny Joestar, a former jockey who is now paralyzed, and Gyro Zeppeli, who possesses an unusual skill known as “Spin Technique.” Set in 1890s America, they compete in a strange horse race, encountering deadly opponents with their Stand abilities. As Johnny seeks redemption and a miracle, he navigates through a tale that is unique each time, although it’s best to watch the earlier installments first to fully appreciate the intriguing history!

Warner Bros. Japan has confirmed that the anime is currently being made, but unfortunately, the teaser does not show any animated footage as production is still in its initial phases. Similar to earlier parts, it seems highly improbable that the anime will be released in 2025. Previous rumors suggested that animation of the horse races would take more time due to their complexity.
