A steamy new thriller titled “I Want Your Love” has been helmed by director and co-writer Gregg Araki. Funded and completely produced by Black Bear, filming was recently completed in Los Angeles, California.

Previously mentioned, the upcoming movie titled “I Want Your Sex” has added some new faces to its star-studded lineup. Joining Olivia Wilde, Cooper Hoffman, and Charli XCX are Eddie Knoxville (known for Jackass), Daveed Diggs (Blindspotting), Mason Gooding (Scream), Chase Sui Wonders (Bodies Bodies Bodies), and Margaret Cho (All That We Love).
In the plot summary of the movie, it states: “Elliot (Hoffman), a newcomer, secures an enticing position with the famed and controversial artist Erika Tracy (Wilde). His dreams become reality when she selects him as her muse for sexual inspiration. However, Elliot is soon in over his head as Erika leads him on a journey far beyond his imaginations, into realms of sex, obsession, power, deceit, and homicide. Filled with eccentric characters and a witty humor, I Want Your Sex promises to defy expectations in a manner that will leave you both surprised and amused!
In collaboration, Araki and Karley Sciortino penned the initial script for “I Want Your Sex”. Together with Seth Caplan, Teddy Schwarzman, and Michael Heimler, both Araki and Sciortino were involved in producing the movie. The executive producers for this production are John Friedberg, Joanne Roberts Wiles, and Courtney L. Cunniff under Black Bear.
Araki is recognized for creating the Teenage Apocalypse series, consisting of “Totally F***ed Up” from 1993, “The Doom Generation” from 1995, and “Nowhere” from 1997. His film “Kaboom,” released in 2010, became the inaugural winner of the Cannes Film Festival’s Queer Palm award. Other works within his filmography include “The Living End” from 1992, “Splendor” from 1999, “Smiley Face” from 2007, and “White Bird in a Blizzard” from 2014.
A release date for I Want Your Sex has not yet been announced.
