What is Johnny Puff: Secret Mission about?
“Johnny Depp reaches new peaks of excitement alongside Johnny Puff! In this story, the wicked Otto von Walrus aims to freeze the world. It falls upon Johnny Puff (Depp) and his avian companions to prevent this icy catastrophe,” the revised synopsis states.
As a gamer and fan of animated shows, I remember back in 2019 when Johnny Puff’s voice was brought to life by the talented Johnny Depp in the TV series “Puffins,” which spun off from Arctic Dogs. Excitedly, I waited for more adventures with this lovable character. In April 2022, my anticipation reached new heights as a spin-off titled “Puffins Impossible” hit the screens!
In the past, Depp has given voice to characters in several animated films. He was Victor Van Dort in “Corpse Bride” (2005), the chameleon named after him in “Rango” (2011), and Sherlock Gnomes in the 2018 follow-up to “Gnomeo & Juliet.”
Néstor F. Dennis is responsible for both writing and directing the latest Johnny Puff film. Joining Johnny Depp in providing voices for the animated production are Drew Crosby. Monika Bacardi and Andrea Iervolino serve as executive producers, while Denis and Cristóbal Rodríguez take on producing duties.
