As a fervent admirer, I’m thrilled to share that I, along with countless others, am ecstatic to announce my upcoming role in Lionsgate’s movie titled “Day Drinker.” This film boasts an impressive lineup, including the Pirates of the Caribbean veterans, Johnny Depp and Penélope Cruz. While specific details about my character are being carefully guarded for now, I can hardly contain my excitement to join this stellar cast!
In addition to her role in Outer Banks, Cline is also a member of the star-studded cast for Netflix’s Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery. At present, she is engaged in production for Sony Pictures’ yet-to-be-titled I Know What You Did Last Summer sequel, featuring original cast members Jennifer Love Hewitt, Sarah Michelle Gellar, and Freddie Prinze Jr. Cline will also soon appear in the romantic drama film The Map That Leads to You, produced by Amazon MGM Studios alongside KJ Apa.
What is Day Drinker about?
In the movie, I come across a cruise ship mixologist who’s quite enigmatic, sipping his daily drinks at odd hours. But little did we know that our paths would lead us into the dark web of crime, and somehow, our lives would intertwine in ways I never imagined.
The upcoming film “Day Drinker” is set to be helmed by director Marc Webb, who has penned down the screenplay alongside Zach Dean. This project is under the banner of John Wick producers Basil Iwanyk and Erica Lee at Thunder Road Productions. Additionally, Zach Dean and Adam Kolbrenner will produce the movie, with 30WEST serving as executive producers. As of now, there’s no confirmed release date for this upcoming production.
Adam Fogelson, head of Lionsgate Motion Picture Group, characterized Day Drinker as a movie that blends a popular idea with shockingly offbeat surprises and turns, all taking place in an extraordinary setting, according to his statement. Chelsea Kujawa will manage the project for Lionsgate, while Dan Freedman handled the studio’s negotiations.
