John Wick’s Age Finally Revealed, Here’s How Old He Is Compared to Keanu Reeves

In a recent interview with The Direct, film producer Basil Iwanky shared the exact schedule for the four movies in the John Wick series and disclosed that the main character’s age is 52.

As a devoted fan, I’d share my observation that the initial three films span approximately two months in the life of our protagonist. Interestingly, the fourth film jumps ahead by around eight months, placing it when he’s recuperating from his wounds. So, if you add them all up, the entire series of movies unfolds over roughly a year in the character’s extraordinary journey.

It’s worth noting that Keanu Reeves was only three years older than the character he portrays, as he was 49 in 2014. This is due to the rapid succession of sequels, which has resulted in him actually aging less than his on-screen persona since then.

The possibility of a new chapter in the series could arise for the fifth installment, though it hasn’t been officially approved yet. In a recent conversation, Keanu Reeves hinted at his desire to reprise his role by stating, “I never rule anything out,” regarding another sequel. Coming up soon, you can catch Reeves as the character in a brief appearance in the upcoming John Wick spin-off titled Ballerina. This film stars Ana de Armas as the main character and is set between the storylines of Chapter 3 and Chapter 4 of the John Wick saga.
